What does the job involve? Support, advise and challenge Doggerbank (DB) management team and organization, as well as contractors in ensuring safe, secure and sustainable wind farm operations. This position reports to Head of SSU (Safety, Security and Sustainability) in Equinor’s Global Offshore Wind organisation. Please note that work location for this position is Port of Tyne, Newcastle. What will my tasks be? Within this position, your key tasks will be to: Provide SSU support to DB in close collaboration with DB SSU Leader. Maintain asset SSU governance in line with regulatory, industry and internal requirements, ensure compliance, and liaison with relevant authority bodies. Support management in driving safety leadership and culture, manage and follow up SSU performance, reporting and deliverables, and take lead in improvement activities towards zero harm. Drive incident reporting, investigation, experience transfer and learning. Facilitate regular risk update, risk assessments and assurance activities. Maintain Crisis and Business Continuity processes and plans, ensure sufficient Emergency Response capabilities and regular training, and serve in Emergency Response role(s) if required. Build a strong security culture, understand and act on threats and vulnerabilities. Plan and execute the annual Health and Working Environment Plan. Manage Contractors, support Supply Chain processes, and act as Company Representative for local SSU related supplier contracts as needed. Manage Climate, Biodiversity and Social / Human Rights risks and ambitions. Conduct site inductions and support site management in port call meetings. Conduct offshore / onshore facilities safety leadership visits and inspections, and ad-hoc investigations. Maneuver the wider Equinor SSU matrix organisation. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred. Prior experience from offshore wind, oil & gas or complex operations. Working experienced with SSU and safety leadership under the UK HSE regulations. Nebosh Certificate and Diploma or equivalent desired. Must be able and willing to travel offshore, have a valid health certificate and GWO safety training (or be able to achieve this). Fluency in English, both written and oral. Personal Qualities: High HSE, integrity and ethical standards, and a role model for safety leadership. Focused, systematic and result oriented, with proven track record of achieving results through others. An effective communicator with strong presentation skills and ability to engage people at all levels. Team player, able to collaborate effectively across a matrix organization.
