About the team
SumUp's Sales Development function is one of the fastest-growing parts of our European go-to-market engine. Our SDRs generate qualified pipeline for high-performing field and inside sales reps across Europe — and we're growing our multilingual team in Barcelona. As a Bulgarian-speaking SDR, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective small business owners in Bulgaria, sparking conversations that turn into real opportunities. You'll be part of a diverse, high-energy team based in our Barcelona office, working alongside people from across Europe and beyond. What you'll do
- Prospect and reach out to small business owners in Bulgaria through outbound calls, emails, and other channels to generate qualified appointments
- Qualify leads by understanding each prospect's business needs and assessing fit with SumUp's products and solutions
- Hand off qualified opportunities to field sales reps, ensuring a smooth and well-documented transition
- Manage your outreach activity and pipeline in CRM, keeping records accurate and up to date
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets for outbound activity and qualified appointments set
- Collaborate with your Team Lead and peers to share what's working, refine messaging, and improve conversion rates
- Continuously develop your sales skills through coaching, call reviews, and team learning sessions
