Business Operations Manager

About the team
The Merchant Care Business Operations team sits at the heart of how SumUp supports millions of small businesses every day. We're a data-driven, cross-functional team focused on making Merchant Care run smarter — through process improvement, performance tracking, and operational planning. This role is a real opportunity to get hands-on experience across a broad operational landscape early in your career, working alongside experienced colleagues who'll support your growth from day one.
What you'll do
- Monitor and maintain Merchant Care performance dashboards, turning data into clear operational insights
- Support and manage small-to-medium projects end-to-end, collaborating with teams across Revenue Operations, Data, and CRM Operations
- Identify process inefficiencies and contribute ideas for improvement across operational workflows
- Prepare structured reporting and analysis to support decision-making by Merchant Care leadership
- Work closely with external business process partners to ensure alignment on operational goals
You'll be great for this role if…
- Experience working with data in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, reporting, and data manipulation
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and translate them into practical recommendations
- Comfort managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate
- Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to explain operational concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
