About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Director of Marketing who can seamlessly navigate the intersection of cutting-edge technology, consumer behavior, and both B2B and B2C growth strategies. This role can be based remotely in the United States or from our Palo Alto, CA headquarters, and will serve as the strategic marketing engine for Wing.

Wing is entering a new chapter of commercial maturity, moving from targeted drone delivery in key markets to scaling everyday delivery. As the leader in residential on-demand delivery, we are accelerating our rollout nationwide. In this role, you’ll architect an integrated marketing strategy that drives adoption, scales our brand presence, and transforms drone delivery into an indispensable, trusted everyday service. Success requires a commercially minded growth leader who can balance the distinct needs of global enterprise partners (B2B), local retail partners, and everyday consumers (B2C) while closely collaborating with Product, Operations, and Communications.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and execute a holistic, data-driven B2B and B2C marketing strategy to support Wing's rapid expansion into complex metropolitan markets.
• Define and scale a brand that drives consumer loyalty, establishing a strong and resonant identity across all markets.
• Normalize drone delivery for consumers through compelling brand marketing and lifecycle campaigns, shaping future buying behavior and driving exponential volume growth.
• Distill highly complex autonomous technology into consumer-friendly value propositions that focus on speed, safety, sustainability, and convenience.
• Drive B2B partner marketing to ensure national restaurant and retail brands recognize Wing as a present-day, high-ROI delivery option worth prioritizing on their roadmaps.
• Build scalable growth marketing engines and co-marketing playbooks that enable our partners to seamlessly promote drone delivery to their existing customer bases.
• Collaborate closely with the Communications and Policy teams to ensure marketing narratives align with regulatory landscapes, community outreach strategy, and broader corporate storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with the People team to articulate an employer brand that builds upon the overall Wing brand and helps attract target talent audiences across various channels.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team (brand, content, social, performance marketing, etc.), fostering a culture of agility, accountability, and commercial excellence.

What You’ll Need:

• 15+ years of relevant experience in strategic marketing, brand management, or growth marketing, ideally within scaled environments or hyper-growth consumer/logistics brands.
• 7+ years of management experience leading multifaceted marketing teams across B2B and B2C disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience commercializing hardware or logistics products and scaling go-to-market (GTM) strategies nationwide.
• Exceptional commercial orientation with a proven track record of managing substantial marketing budgets, optimizing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and driving measurable top-line growth.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

Salary Range: $260,000 USD - $326,000 USD
