Iconic Adventures is a boutique experiential travel company that designs and operates high-touch group journeys for some of the most respected organizations in the world. Our clients include leading national nonprofits and conservation institutions, Fortune 500 and global enterprises, and ultra-high-net-worth families and family offices. We specialize in complex, premium, relationship-driven programs: donor-engagement and board journeys for major philanthropic organizations; executive incentive and recognition travel for top corporate performers; multi-day, multi-country corporate charity-challenge events tied to large-scale employee fundraising; and bespoke luxury travel for private families. These are six- and seven-figure programs where trust, discretion, and flawless execution matter more than volume. Role Summary We are seeking a Business Development Manager, Experiential Travel & Partnerships, to grow our pipeline across the segments above. This is a strategic, relationship-driven outbound role. You will identify the organizations worth pursuing, the decision-makers within them, and open credible conversations that our senior team converts into business. You will own the top of the funnel (research, targeting, outreach, qualification, and pipeline reporting) and hand off well-qualified opportunities to our leadership team to close. This is a full-time role. For an exceptional candidate, we're open to discussing a contract or part-time arrangement. We are hiring immediately. Key Responsibilities Identify and prioritize target organizations that fit our programs, and map the right decision-makers and influencers within each. Build and run a targeted prospecting strategy across email, LinkedIn, phone, and events, researched and personalized to each organization and contact. Maintain a clean, well-organized pipeline in our CRM; track activity, stages, and conversion; and report on performance and learnings. Qualify opportunities against clear criteria and hand off warm, well-briefed prospects to the senior team. Use prospecting and reporting tools (for example, Apollo, a CRM, and pipeline dashboards) to manage the funnel by the numbers. Share market intelligence (buyer patterns, timing, and the messaging that resonates) to sharpen our approach over time. Required Qualifications Demonstrated success in B2B outbound business development, ideally in complex, multi-stakeholder, considered-purchase sales cycles. Fluency with modern prospecting and pipeline tools, for example, Apollo (or similar), a CRM (such as HubSpot, Copper), and pipeline and metrics reporting. Proven ability to identify the right target organizations and the right people within them, and to build a territory from research, with or without an existing network. Strong written and verbal communication; able to craft personalized, credible outreach to senior decision-makers. Comfort with sales metrics: outreach volume, response and conversion rates, meetings booked, and pipeline created. Highly self-directed and reliable; able to manage your own schedule and deliver consistently in a remote, part-capacity engagement. Must be a U.S. citizen, based in and authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of our markets: experiential, group, incentive, or events travel; nonprofit development and donor relations; corporate CSR or sales-incentive programs; or luxury and UHNW services. An existing network among nonprofit development leaders, corporate CSR or sales-incentive decision-makers, or family offices. Experience prospecting sponsorships or multi-stakeholder accounts (procurement, mission and marketing, and finance). What Is Not a Fit for This Role This is not a fit if your approach centers on high-volume, untargeted outreach. Our clients are senior leaders, and our reputation depends on outreach that is researched, personalized, and respectful of their time. In short, metrics and relationships matter equally - we require this candidate to be efficient, focused, and productive as well as self-aware and respectful. Tools and Systems Apollo or an equivalent prospecting platform, a CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce), and pipeline and metrics reporting. You should be confident setting up, working in, and reporting from these tools. Engagement, Location, and Compensation Engagement: This is a full-time, exempt position. Schedule: Standard full-time hours, Monday through Friday. This is a remote-first position; travel may be required for industry events or team meetings. Location: Fully remote within the United States. Must be a U.S. citizen. Compensation: Base salary of $65,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based variable compensation of $15,000-$30,000 tied to qualified meetings and opportunities sourced. On-target earnings (OTE) of approximately $85,000-$110,000 for a strong performer. Benefits: As a full-time employee, this role is eligible for benefits. Hiring Process and What to Expect We are hiring immediately and reviewing applications on a rolling basis until the role is filled. Due to the volume of interest, we will only respond to candidates we are advancing in the process.  No candidate ticks every box. If this role excites you and you bring many of these strengths, we'd love to hear from you.  Candidates should be prepared to provide professional references. We will not contact any reference without notifying you first.
