Our Sales Development team is the first step in every merchant's journey with SumUp, creating opportunities that help small businesses discover smarter payment solutions. From our Cologne office, you'll work with an international team focused on the Portuguese market, partnering closely with Field Sales to bring new merchants on board and drive our continued growth. 🎯 What you'll do
- Connect with small businesses through outbound calls to understand their needs and introduce SumUp's POS and payment solutions
- Qualify merchants by identifying business opportunities and recommending the right solutions
- Book high-quality appointments for the Field Sales team, helping build a strong pipeline of future customers
- Manage outbound activity using prospecting tools, lead lists and existing opportunities to generate new business
- Work closely with teammates to share insights, improve outreach strategies and contribute to the success of the Portuguese market
