Job Description Provide legal counsel on AI-related products and technologies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal and regulatory risks associated with AI initiatives. Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to AI technologies, partnerships, and licensing. Monitor and advise on emerging legal and regulatory developments in AI law and financial services. Support the development and implementation of internal policies and practices related to AI governance. Advise on intellectual property matters, including patents, copyrights, and trade secrets, as they relate to AI innovations. Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on AI compliance and risk management strategies. Conduct training sessions on AI-related legal topics for internal teams. The Successful Applicant A successful Legal Counsel - AI should have: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Active membership in the New York State Bar. Extensive experience in product counseling, particularly in AI-related legal matters. Strong knowledge of laws and regulations impacting AI and financial services. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to provide strategic legal advice in a fast-paced environment. What's on Offer Competitive base salary ranging from $250,000 to $300,000 USD annually. Performance-based bonus structure.
