Windows Application Support Engineer- Remote in México

Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires: Windows Application Support Engineer We are seeking a Windows Application Support Engineer to provide technical support for Windows-based applications and environments. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting application issues, supporting Windows environments, automating tasks with PowerShell, and collaborating with cross-functional teams during migration and deployment projects. Experience with desktop/application migrations and Azure-hosted environments is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for Windows-based applications in production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve application, operating system, and infrastructure issues. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks. Support Windows Server and Windows desktop environments. Participate in desktop and application migration projects. Validate application functionality after migrations or deployments. Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions. Coordinate with Project Managers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Escalate complex technical issues when necessary. Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in Windows Application Support, Windows Administration, or a similar role. Strong experience with PowerShell scripting. Experience supporting Windows Server and/or Windows 10/11 environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience supporting enterprise applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders. Basic project coordination or project management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with desktop or application migration projects. Experience with Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), or Windows 365. Knowledge of networking fundamentals and post-migration connectivity validation. Experience performing application validation, smoke testing, regression testing, or User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy. Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
