Senior Digital Product Owner Position Type Contract (09-22-2025 - 08-31-2026) Location Washington, DC Remote Work Partial Primary Skills Product Management Key Responsibilities Act as the Voice of the Customer: Serve as the primary point of contact for the product, managing the backlog to ensure it reflects business priorities and drives maximum value. Develop Product Strategy: Create and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with overall business goals and customer needs. Translate Business Needs: Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize and Manage Backlog: Refine and prioritize features based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility to ensure the team is focused on high-priority items. Collaborate and Align: Foster strong collaboration with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to ensure everyone is aligned with the product vision. Maintain Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction, key features, and timelines for product development. Define Success Metrics: Establish and track key metrics to measure product success and identify areas for continuous improvement. Champion Agile Practices: Lead and champion the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices, with a preference for Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience. Required Qualifications Experience: Proven success in defining and building digital products on product teams. Methodology: Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with SAFe experience highly preferred. Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions. Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with reservation solutions in the transportation industry. Technical Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with implementing SaaS and cloud solutions. Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills.
