The Team you will be joining: HQR Our team is charged with maintaining and improving the software at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that supports the Hospital Quality Reporting program. Thousands of hospitals across the country depend on these systems to submit quality measure data that reflects the care beneficiaries receive in their facility.  Our teams will continuously strive to modernize these systems, while improving them in ways that reduce provider burden and minimize costs to CMS.  We do this through HCD and Service design practices, product thinking, and skilled engineering.  At Bellese, we’re relentlessly focused on enabling and empowering providers to focus on improving the quality and safety of patient care.   As a Engineer II, QA: What You Can Expect Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teammates, external teams, and client stakeholders to ensure quality considerations are integrated at every stage of the SDLC.  Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and relevant documentation that align with software specifications and user requirements to ensure thorough testing of features and functionalities. Bug Tracking and Resolution: Utilize bug-tracking tools to document, prioritize, and track defects. Facilitate communication across teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution. Quality Metrics and Standards: Establish and enforce standards and best practices. Track metrics to assess the quality of the software throughout the SDLC. Automate Testing Processes: Focus on increasing test coverage, speed, and accuracy to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and recommend new QA tools, frameworks, and techniques, driving innovation and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure testing procedures comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, preparing documentation for audit purposes. Performance and Security Testing: Implement and conduct performance and security testing following best practices and business requirements. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3 years of development experience Relational Database experience (SQL preferred) API testing (Postman preferred) Experience with Cypress and/or Javascript Frontend development experience with frameworks like Angular Cloud Experience (ideally AWS) Experience with testRail Experience in Agile development methodology Experience with IaC ideally Terraform Knowledge of end-to-end fully automated CI/CD pipelines, from committing code to deploying to production Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or experience    AWS Certification Cypress Certification ETL skillset \n Security Clearance Requirements US Citizenship or Green Card only - we do not offer Sponsorship US Residency for at least the past 3 years Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation Disclaimer: Medical or recreational marijuana use is considered illegal at the federal level, regardless of state laws allowing such, and may affect your ability to obtain Public Trust.
