Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. We are growing rapidly and are now looking for an Operations Associate in Romania.

In the Operations Team, we focus on the courier partners: We ensure the right amount of courier partners to meet the order demand by constantly developing courier partner satisfaction and smooth, scalable processes.

As an Operations Associate in the Courier Onboarding Team, you will be responsible for the Onboarding of new Courier Partners in our region and making sure that they have everything needed in order to provide the best quality of service throughout all stages of delivery - from our restaurants & retailers to the customers. Working in a fast and dynamic environment, it is important to be a team player and also to have the ability to figure out what to do rather than wait to be told. Managing great courier partners requires a can-do attitude, as there are some routine tasks that require our attention.

In this pursuit, we aim to create the World’s best courier experience by optimizing processes, bettering content, and assuring that we have as little friction as possible.

What you’ll be doing

• Onboard, retain, and grow the number of happy Courier Partners on Wolt’s platform to ensure a healthy and sustainable delivery operation.
• Manage our courier gear operations on a day-to-day level. Coordinate warehouse tasks with our logistics partner, handle gear-related questions, special projects, and make sure gear is ready when and where it’s needed.
• Monitor courier supply trends across Romanian cities, highlight potential issues, and support local actions that help keep delivery operations running smoothly.
• Identify blockers, propose improvements, and help make the onboarding experience as seamless as possible.
• To improve conversion rates, recommend improvements to the onboarding process, especially around communication and engagement.
• Create and improve processes to drive operational efficiency, to allow the business operations to scale efficiently.
• Share development ideas within the Operations team to improve ongoing tasks.
• While your main focus will be on courier onboarding in Romania, you'll also collaborate with teammates within the region to align processes, exchange ideas, and support shared regional goals.

• You’re quick to learn and comfortable switching between daily tasks and larger process improvements.
• You take initiative and find solutions when things are unclear, instead of waiting to be told what to do.
• You think in processes and are open to using tools,  including AI and spreadsheets, to simplify work, improve outcomes, or automate repetitive steps.
• You collaborate well across teams and locations, and you’re open to working closely with colleagues in the region.
• You’re fluent in Romanian and English.
• You're able to work from the Bucharest office in a hybrid model (three days from the office, two optional work-from-home days).
