Drive revenue growth across institutional clients Identify and capture new revenue streams from asset managers, banks, sovereign funds, and insurers across APAC and globally. Build and manage strategic B2B partnerships Establish and deepen relationships with custodians, broker-dealers, trading platforms, and regulators involved in Bond Connect and cross-border flows. Oversee client acquisition and retention Monitor geopolitical and regulatory landscape Assess how China-US relations, Hong Kong policy changes, sanctions regimes, and capital controls impact bond market access and client strategies. Work closely with trading, compliance, legal, risk, and operations teams to deliver seamless cross-border bond trading solutions. Lead product development and innovation Drive new offerings such as ESG bonds, derivatives hedging tools, and structured solutions aligned with market demand. Represent the firm in industry forums, engage with HKMA, PBOC-related initiatives, industry working groups Oversee budgeting, forecasting, pipeline tracking, and KPIs tied to AUM flows, trading volumes, and revenue growth. The Successful Applicant Extensive fixed income and Bond Connect expertise 15+ years in capital markets with deep knowledge of China onshore/offshore bond markets, Bond Connect mechanisms, and RMB products. Strong B2B and institutional relationship network Proven track record of managing senior relationships with global financial institutions and regional partners. Geopolitical and regulatory awareness Demonstrated understanding of Asian financial regulations, Hong Kong's role, and geopolitical risks affecting capital markets. Leadership and commercial track record Experience leading regional/global teams, with measurable success in revenue growth and market expansion.
