Department: COM | Neurology Faculty Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Assistant Professor is responsible for providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient clinical care while demonstrating excellence in patient care, professionalism, and clinical expertise. Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent required. Licensed to practice medicine or eligible for licensure in Arkansas. Completion of neurology residency. Candidate must be ABPN board eligible. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical care while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and clinical excellence. Participate in the epilepsy call schedule to ensure timely and effective patient care. Teach and mentor medical students and residents in both clinical and academic settings. Develop and participate in clinical and/or scientific research initiatives that advance the department's academic and research mission. Contribute to scholarly activities through the preparation and publication of peer-reviewed manuscripts. Perform other duties as assigned.
