Key Responsibilities for the Accountant (Payroll & Accounts Payable) Role: Manage and process semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely employee payments. Serve as the payroll system administrator and liaison with the external payroll provider, including payroll allocations, reconciliations, and reporting. Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, employee reimbursements, and payment runs. Prepare payroll, audit, and financial reports while supporting internal controls and regulatory compliance requirements. Assist with cash receipts, account reconciliations, audit support, and other accounting functions as needed. Qualifications for the Accountant (Payroll & Accounts Payable): Associate degree in Accounting plus 4+ years of payroll and accounts payable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and payroll experience. Experience with MIP accounting software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities; Spanish language skills are a plus.
