Web Developer (Mid-Level)

Gold Systems is seeking a Web Developer (Mid-Level)  to support multiple states in their effort to combat wildland fires. Our Fire Business System manages the costs of resources deployed on forest fires, making sure that fire departments are paid for their efforts and states are reimbursed by the Federal Government where appropriate. If you enjoy technical problem solving, rapid development, and a highly collaborative environment , this is a great opportunity! You should have a broad knowledge of web development technologies and demonstrated experience in SaaS design, development, and deployment . You will work closely with other development disciplines, including quality assurance, product design, and project management. Must-Haves 4+ years of professional experience developing web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (VueJS, etc.) 4+ years of professional experience with Java web development Solid understanding of SQL, data manipulation, database schemas, and concepts Solid understanding of and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Frontend frameworks Excellent communication skills BS Degree in CS, CIS, MIS Nice-to-Haves Professional experience working with large VueJS codebases Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies Experience gathering requirements and creating technical specifications  Compensation This is a full time position Medical and dental benefits 401K Paid time off Technology budget About Gold Systems Gold Systems works on a variety of environmental and natural resource-focused projects for Federal, State, and Tribal Nation clients.
