In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for overseeing the administration of the Nestle pension plans. You will be acting as a subject matter expert and providing guidance and support to internal team members and multiple third-party vendors to administer the Plans. You will work closely with the Manager to manage vendors and ensure execution with plan provisions. Responsibilities Independently manage and resolve complex escalations end-to-end from internal and external stakeholders in areas such as complex benefit calculations, QDROs, POAs, and participant inquiries. Act as the primary consultant on matters requiring interpretation, partnering with internal and external counsel and third-party administrators leading to resolution Oversee Pension mailings, coordinating with third party Administrator, and completing or managing required activities such as mailing listings and cover letter updates. Own key annual activities and assigned pension controls such as PBGC filings, 5500 counts, RMD reviews, and Pension Calculation audits to ensure accuracy Lead complex data reviews and clean-up initiatives including Pension to Retirement Contribution and SAP to Pension system comparison and coordinating actions with internal teams and vendors. Completion of calculations of complex data updates for third party Administrator to then be able to accurately calculate pension benefits Advise on and support system and process changes impacting pension administration, including documenting business requirements, conducting UAT, and validating interfaces. Contribute to enterprise risk management and derisking initiatives by providing insight and assessing implications in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Review and maintain accurate process documentation for assigned activities Participate in special pension projects and initiatives as a consultant, contributing analysis, recommendations and technical expertise to support broader HR and organizational objectives. Serve as a recognized lead within the pension team for complex matters, guiding peers through complex matters and reinforcing consistent application of policies and best practices. Required Qualifications Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (7+ years preferred) Minimum 8 years’ experience in retirement plan administration, actuary, benefits, HR, or related field. With a minimum of 5 years experience in Defined Benefit Pension Plans. Competencies Ability to identify and mitigate risks Ability to collaborate and knowledge sharing Proven leadership and adaptability Experience advising senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment Skills & Capabilities Deep knowledge of Defined Benefits Pension Plans and related regulatory frameworks (ERISA, Department of Labor) Proven success leading process improvement or automation initiatives in pension administration Proficiency with Excel/Power BI (or similar) for trend analysis, reconciliations, and exception reporting. Advanced data analytics and reporting expertise; experience with pension modeling or forecasting Demonstrated ability to manage complex vendor relationships and cross-functional projects Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to diverse audiences Experience with user acceptance testing or implementing new HRIS/pension systems Managing projects or cross functional teams Preferred Qualifications SAP/SuccessFactors experience Change management experience or certification Experience designing or operating business controls (SOX/internal control environment, audit readiness, or data quality controls). Experience with complex pension or payroll issues. Experience with ServiceNow or other applicable case management system. #LI-JM13
