SEO Specialist | Senior

What we're building BlancVPN is a privacy product used by hundreds of thousands of people, and organic search is one of the highest-intent ways new users find us. We're looking for an SEO Specialist | Senior who treats SEO not as a checklist but as the intersection of content, product, engineering, and analytics — someone who thinks strategically and still drives execution. You'll care about growing qualified demand, not traffic for its own sake, and you'll be as comfortable with technical SEO and site structure as you are with measurement. What we're looking for Core Requirements - Fluent Russian and English ( B2+ ) - 4+ years in SEO for consumer internet or digital products - Strong technical SEO skills: crawling, indexing, site architecture, redirects, canonicals - Experience with content strategy, keyword research, and search intent mapping - Confident use of Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Screaming Frog - Understanding of Core Web Vitals and the performance side of SEO - Ability to prioritize experiments and measure business impact - Strong analytical communication and ownership Nice-to-have - Experience shipping SEO improvements alongside engineering and content teams - Experience with multilingual or international SEO - Familiarity with subscription products What you'll be doing Strategy and Execution - Own the SEO roadmap across technical, content, and on-site work - Run audits and identify indexing, crawling, and information-architecture issues - Work with engineering on changes that materially improve organic performance - Partner with product and content teams on landing pages, briefs, and site structure - Grow branded and non-branded organic visibility in priority markets Measurement and Growth - Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and search updates - Turn data into clear recommendations and execution plans - Build and refine internal SEO processes and reporting - Help shape international SEO strategy where relevant - Keep a high bar for quality, experimentation, and iteration What we offer 🌍 Work from anywhere — fully remote (except Russia, Belarus, China, Syria, Iran, Yemen, North Korea, and some other regions). 🗓️ Flexible 5-day week — start when it suits you; loosely aligned to CET . 💻 Full home-office setup — all the equipment you need, on us. 🌴 40 flexible paid days off + paid sick leave. ❤️ Benefits — VHI, wellness, language courses, mental health support and a referral program. 📈 Room to grow — annual development budget + in-person team meet-ups.   Stages 👋 Welcome Call 🛠️ Technical Call 🤝 Pre-Offer Call
