Senior Software Engineer - Core Service

About the role As a Senior Software Engineer at Inspectorio, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and quality assurance engineers to conceptualize, develop, and deploy software features that meet customer needs. Your initial focus will be on our core functionalities such as Organization & User Management, Authentication & Authorization, Billing & Subscription Management. What you'll do Design, develop, and   maintain   high-performance backend services using Python and   its frameworks such as   Django,   FastAPI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Work closely with Customer Support and QA teams to investigate and resolve customer-reported incidents, bugs, and requests in   a timely   and professional manner. Utilize AI   agents and AI workflows   to streamline development tasks and routine operations, from ideation to developing new features and root cause analysis. Demonstrate   strong communication   and collaboration skills,   participating   actively in team discussions, planning sessions, and retrospectives. Architect and implement new features and services that meet business requirements. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and industry standards. Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to enhance the team’s capabilities. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks and other backend issues. Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in   AI   utilization. Optimize   applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security and data protection standards. Contribute to the improvement of the development process, including continuous integration and deployment strategies. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong emphasis on Python and   its frameworks. Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and other OOP principles such as SOLID and GRASP. Experience with RESTful APIs, API-first approach, and   microservices   architecture. Proficient in working with   both   relational   and non-relational   databases such as   PostgreSQL,   ElasticSearch. Experience using AI assistants in the development workflow (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity). Experience with asynchronous programming and related frameworks like Celery. Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services. Proven ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Great communication   skills, in English, both written and verbal. Experience   in   working with SaaS Billing systems is a plus.
