The role We are excited to offer an internal opportunity for a Senior Product Information Advisor on a 12-month secondment basis, supporting one of our UK Retail clients. This role is ideal for experienced Product Information Advisors who are looking to take the next step in their careers. Key duties and responsibilities   Spec/pack copy review   Artwork review   Formulation review   Regulatory Adaptations   In-depth technical knowledge in area of responsibility, including codes of practice,  policies  and guidance   Practical experience of using specification or artwork systems and packages    Consistently works at expected work rate and to  a high level  of accuracy   Confident to apply requirements to product information and explain decisions to clients   Excellent  oral and written communication .    Experience   Demonstrable experience of independent working, managing your own workload and time management   Demonstrable risk-based decision making    Confident to apply requirements to product information    Able to explain complex requirements in  a simple way     Ability to research and gather information using available resources    Welcomes guidance and understands the commercial environment    Stress resilient and able to work against tight deadlines    Positive approach to opportunities to develop    Consistently works at expected work rate and to  a high level  of accuracy.    Work efficiently in a team to ensure a consistent approach is applied for each client.    Clearly  demonstrates  the Ashbury Values       Competencies    Communication   You should be able to effectively communicate actionable comments on the work they provide to clients in a simple and concise manner. You will be able to confidently deliver  concise  communications on complex technical topics, for clients who may not have a technical background.      Building and managing relationships   You will be able to  identify  and differentiate between regulatory requirements and client policy, codes of practice, or any other  client-specific  guidance documents.    You will be able to acknowledge different priorities from team leads and/or clients, and prioritise tasks based on information provided by the client, using their own initiative to ensure deadlines are adhered to.    You excel in collaborating with others to achieve shared goals. You will  demonstrate  your ability to lead a team of advisors and be decisive in your approach to issue and performance management.    You will be able to  demonstrate  experience of engaging and  participating  with trade associations, external professional bodies, and/or competent authorities in a regulatory or technical capacity.        Delivering results   You will be able to display regulatory/food safety/food science knowledge through the work which they carry out, to an acceptable level, across multiple categories.   You will be able to confidently navigate and interpret UK and EU regulations when considering specifications, artworks, and other  product-related  documentation for clients.    You will be able to confidently navigate and scrutinise client artworks and specifications, highlighting non-compliances within the documents provided .     Where required, you will be able to confidently navigate specification systems (i.e. FIND), to gather the data/documents  required  for artwork and specification reviews.  identify  missing documentation or information  required  for progressing the specification or artwork.   You will be able to confidently navigate and interpret UK and EU regulations when considering specifications, artworks, and other  category-related   You will be able to confidently review and  determine  risks associated with decisions made within the role, applicable to both product safety and business risk. You will be able to  demonstrate  a critical thinking process when  determining  the  appropriate action  or escalating when  required . You will understand and adapt to the  client's  tolerance to regulatory risk .    documentation for clients.    You will be able to complete tasks in a time efficient manner to the required level of detail, avoiding any errors when conducting work for clients .     You'll   possess  strong analytical skills and can approach problems with a logical, solution oriented, approach. You  are capable of breaking  down complex problems into smaller components, analysing data and information, and  identifying  patterns or root causes. You apply critical thinking to generate potential solutions and evaluate their feasibility.    You will be able to  demonstrate  strong IT skills, such as Microsoft Office capability and performance management systems. You will have experience in analysing data sets to  determine  business efficiency and performance metrics.    You will be able to  demonstrate  understanding of way of working at Ashbury, including the dynamic nature of the work we deliver to our clients. You will be able to  demonstrate  ways of adapting to this work and supporting advisors to achieve deadlines.    You will be able to display regulatory/food safety/food science knowledge through the work which you carry out, to a degree level or above .   You will be able to  demonstrate  experience in conducting either internal or external audits to  a specific standard (e.g. GFSI) and have a recognised auditing qualification or have  received recognised training on the standard.    Where applicable to the role, you will be able to show the required skills to be able to deliver the work  required  for clients.    You will be able to  demonstrate  experience and understanding of the operations surrounding food manufacturing establishments and how they apply to bringing a product to market.      Commerciality   Within the comments,  you'll   be  able to show how they consider the commercial requirements of clients when reviewing artwork, specification, and policies.
