- Own the end-to-end procurement operations process, ensuring ingredients and packaging are delivered On Time, In Full, and In Quality (OTIFQ) to support uninterrupted production.
- Drive inventory governance, ensuing product availability and operational efficiency while minimising waste and stock risk.
- Champion our zero-waste strategy through continuous optimisation of purchasing parameters, inventory controls, and forecasting inputs.
- Partner closely with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Culinary, and Production to optimize purchasing strategies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Monitor procurement KPIs, purchasing data, and system accuracy, using insights to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and drive operational improvements.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and standardise procurement and inventory processes through data, technology, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility of procurement performance, inventory health, supplier performance, and key operational KPIs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making across Procurement Operations.
What you’ll bring
- At least 5-6 years of relevant work experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement or Production field
- Stress resilience and a hands-on approach
- A proactive, data-driven, and result-oriented mindset
- Flexibility for occasional weekend work and travel
- Excellent communication skills, able to work across different teams and cultures
- Fluency in English (German knowledge is a plus)
What we offer
- Freedom to initiate, execute and implement your own ideas
- Lots of learning and development opportunities
- 24 holidays based on 40 hours per week per year, pro rata
- A hybrid work setup - with roughly 2 days in our Amsterdam office
- Reimbursement of travel expenses to the office
- Discount on your ClassPass subscription, and a discount for your gym membership via Bedrijfsfitness Nederland
- Discount on your additional health insurance through Zilveren Kruis
- A discount on your weekly, Factor, HelloFresh and/or Green Chef box in the Netherlands
