If you’re passionate about iGaming and tech development bold in your approach, and act with integrity, we’d love for you to join our team as a Senior Backend Developer.     A taste of what you’ll do   The Senior Backend Developer works on Immense’ in-house projects by designing features, writing code, performing code reviews, solving problems, tracking down bugs and delivering stable and well written solutions. Versatility, ownership qualities, and enthusiasm for tackling technical challenges and problems across our stack are required in this role, as our platform continues to be built.     • Designing and developing new Backend features   • Performing functional requirements analysis   • Wri ng high-quality code and documenta on   • Working closely with other developers, QA, and product teams   • Applying analytical skills and showing commitment to quality   • Help to track requests, issues, work progress, and any other changes using our project   management tools.   • Providing estimates and technical documentation request   • Wri ng code with performance, reliability, and maintainability in mind   • Managing individual project priori es, deadlines, and deliverables   • Working in collaboration on with external partners when required   • Managing code changes using our version control system   • Performing code reviews   • Any other task/responsibility which may be related and/or connected to the role of   Backend Developer     Who and what we are after?     • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field   • Experience in a comparable software development role, mastering PHP as programming language.   • Proven Laravel experience would be considered as an advantage   • Experience with payment systems would be considered an advantage.  • Good knowledge of REST or GraphQL web services   • Aware of the challenges which come with working on scalable and high-performant applications   • Proficiency with development in Linux environments   • Ability to proficiently document and write test cases   • Structured, good attention on to detail and thorough   • Ability to work with minimal supervision   • Experience using AI tools as part of the daily software development workflow.  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English     Employee benefits     Private health insurance  – because your wellbeing matters to us   Wellness allowance  – up to €300 per year   Fresh and healthy  Breakfast & Lunch  prepared everyday in our penthouse kitchen – you can save up to €3,000 a year   Birthday leave  – as we want you to celebrate your day   Company and team-building  events  – trust us, these are legendary   Relocation package  to Malta, including flight and two weeks of accommodation   And much more  – see for yourself!       Meet all the eligible criteria?
