The DrillOps Field Deployment Lead is essentially responsible for the rig-IT infrastructure and software updates, IT equipment inventory control, data management and communication between rig site and any remote center. This person is a basic user of the data acquisition/core and services elements of the wellsite execution systems. The DrillOps Field Deployment Lead needs to understand town-based Orchestra & Prism systems.
- Establish and maintain data link to town and wellsite network.
- Manage user access / permissions.
- Troubleshoot of IT infrastructure, RCS and Coda systems, sensors and cabling and related problems. Manages IT equipment inventory.
- Re-start virtual machines.
