The mission We are looking for a product manager to join our team Global Fraud Business Inisghts in Romania. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building a dedicated DataLake within the Global Fraud domain,defining its vision, strategy, and requirements that fit the purpose of excellent fraud business insightsYou will create innovative, scalable data solutions in the space of Fraud and ensure their adoption across the global fraud organization. You will proactively work with several (tech)teams to implement these solutions and drive Product-led delivery. You will work collaboratively with an extended group of stakeholders, including global and local Fraud, but also Operations, Delivery, Data, IT, Compliance, Legal and Corporate Audit. You will be responsible for owning and evolving the Global Fraud DataLake, translating business needs into product requirements (and vice versa), and driving datalakedevelopment. You will establish the data governance in the global fraud organisation. You will be thesparring partner to (senior) Management and stakeholders from multiple areas. Your day to day As product manager you will report hierarchically to the Data Analytics Lead and functionally to the Head of Global Fraud Strategy and Business Insights. The Business Insights team is newly established and is a small, focused business team that combines expertise on fraud with business analytics. The team supports the Fraud strategy by excellent fraud reports and fraud business insights. This creates a unique opportunity for the new hire to shape the foundation, drive early impact, and help define how the team evolves as its responsibilities expand. Your responsabilities will include: Focus on protecting customers and ING You have a vision on what data could be needed to detect, assess and ultimately prevent fraud using high-quality, scalable data platforms and advanced analytics models in the fraud domain. Focus on stakeholders You drive the development of the Global Fraud DataLake and ensure seamless integration into the value chain of internal stakeholders, connecting it with other internal and external data and analytics capabilities You define and implement Data governance in Global Fraud domain (Data owners, stewards) and align global and local data governance. You coordinate the contribution of supporting teams (such as data management, engineering, compliance, etc.) You drive the development, implementation and communication of the roadmap and strategy of the Global Fraud DataLake and the end -to-end implementation needed for excellent reporting and fraud insights. You define and own product requirements for the development of data and analytics products and services in the Fraud scope You are customer focused, have understanding of client needs, bridging IT and business Focus on delivery You the Product Lead and Fraud Lead in managing priorities and ensuring value delivery aligned with the global fraud strategy and data strategy. You manage and prioritize the backlog at the level of epics and features, in line with ING’s Agile way of working You apply your experience in building and managing products with an end-to-end mindset, including design, implementation and operations of the Fraud DataLake You work with Risk, Compliance, Model Risk Management and Legal stakeholders to ensure the product complies with regulation and policies Focus on leading the team You have strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and facts You can explain complex data and platform solutions in an understandable way to senior stakeholders (birds-eye view) You are creative and an out-of-the-box thinker who likes to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment What you'll bring to the team Education: Master's degree Minimum 5 years of experience applying analytics in a business environment Minimum 3 years of product management experience Experience defining product vision, roadmap, and value proposition for enterprise data or analytics platforms Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Experience leading the implementation and adoption of data platforms or data lakes is a plus Experience with Google technologies is a plus Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority Strong analytical mindset: curious, data-driven, and focused on understanding root causes Able to translate complex topics into clear, concise, and actionable insights Fluent in English (Dutch, French, Spanish, or German are a plus) If you want to deep dive into the processing of personal data conducted by ING Hubs Romania during the recruitment process and your rights related to it, read the privacy notices on our website (make sure to scroll until you reach the Data Protection section/ Candidates tab).
