Raytheon has an opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Procurement. This role is for the Product Support (PS) group within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) organization. This position requires the management of medium and high complexity commodity procurements in support of multiple internal customers enterprise-wide. Additionally this role will be asked to serve as the focal point for interface and communication between the programs and suppliers. Candidates should possess capability to review and negotiate terms and conditions and recommend final Raytheon position to Subject Matter Expert and/or Supply Chain Advisor and Office of General Counsel. Some travel may be required What You Will Do Quotation activities Negotiations Documentation write-up Selecting qualified suppliers Seeking alternate suppliers (when applicable) with direction from program and peers Conduct supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions, to include software licenses) Post-award management in accordance with company directives and work instruction Qualifications You Must Have ​Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience 5 years experience in a procurement and/or buying role Experience with negotiations (e.g. price, schedule and/or supplier exceptions to contractual requirements) Experience processing Purchase Orders (POs) Experience with once or more of the following: price analyses, source selection and/or justification Qualifications We Prefer Experience with standard computer systems focused on supplier management processes (SAP-PRISM) Ability to filter information from multiple sources to drive innovative solutions Experience working with MS Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, as well as knowledge of supply chain processes The ability to read drawings Department of War (DoW) procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS) What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
