What you’ll do Design, build, and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT pipelines , and integration processes Develop robust Oracle-based data solutions powering transactional and near real-time systems Implement high-performance, secure, and scalable data processing pipelines Build automation, monitoring, and testing frameworks for data workflows Collaborate with global teams in an Agile setup , driving continuous improvement Own your solutions end-to-end: design → implementation → testing → production support What you bring Core expertise Strong Oracle / SQL (5+ years) Advanced PL/SQL development: stored procedures, packages, functions Experience with triggers, views, materialized views, and performance tuning Understanding of transaction management, locking, and optimization Experience building database-centric middleware / data integration layers Python & shell scripting (5+ years) for automation and data processing Experience designing data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, modelling, storage) Experience with near real-time or transactional systems Engineering mindset Strong problem-solving and solution design skills Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a plus) Comfortable working in distributed, international teams Domain & extra points Experience working in banking (5+ years), ideally Financial Markets Knowledge of Exchange Listed products (Equities, Commodities) Familiarity with Agile / Scrum What we value Ownership and accountability Clear, open communication Curiosity and continuous learning Drive to improve systems, teams, and ways of working Why join us Work on real-time trading platforms with global impact Combine deep Oracle engineering with modern data tooling Grow in a culture that values craftsmanship, autonomy, and learning The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III" or "Engineer IV".
