SHIFT/SCHEDULE: This role operates on the 3rd shift, with a schedule following a 2-week rotating 12-hour, schedule— Week 1: work Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday The hours will be 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (12-hour shift) ONBOARDING SCHEDULE: To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week. POSITION SUMMARY: As a Mid-Level Mechanic, you’ll perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, using your experience to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement. You’ll also help train junior technicians and contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs across production and facility equipment Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems Support root cause analysis and problem-solving projects Clean, lubricate, and inspect machinery for wear or damage Monitor and maintain plant systems (bo Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred 5+ years of maintenance experience, including manufacturing Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred Working knowledge of CMMS strongly recommended Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens Flexible to work overtime based on business needs SKILLS: Comfortable using CMMS and basic software (Oilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.) Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues Assist with emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance Train and support lower-level technicians Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies utlook, Excel, Word) Experience with SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred The approximate hourly pay for this position is $34.00*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
