Master of Financial Planning - Online Facilitator

This is a remote position. Position Summary – Flexible, High-Impact Premium Remote Academic Role The Online Educator (LINC Fellow) functions as an independent academic contributor with LINC Education, delivering online facilitation services to postgraduate students enrolled in the Master of Financial Planning (Online) offered by Victoria University Online . The programs are delivered in innovative formats such as Victoria University’s block model, where students complete one unit in intensive 8-week blocks. What’s on offer?   Se lected applicants will be engaged as independent contractors and will be offered a competitive fixed remuneration of $6800 to manage a class of approximately 25 students. Work Flexibility Commitment of approximately 10–15 hours per week, 7 days a week.  Fully remote working model Requirement of a stable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace Availability throughout the week between 5 pm and 10 pm Melbourne time Roles & Responsibilities:   The LINC Fellow is expected to: Provide subject matter guidance to a cohort of 25–30 postgraduate students Conduct 1:1 academic support sessions Guide students on course content and assessments Perform assessment grading with detailed, constructive feedback Manage and moderate weekly discussion forums Support students in developing academic skills such as writing, research, and time management Deliver timely, proactive, and personalised support to student queries Engagement with students will take place via email, calls, and online platforms within defined availability hours. Desired candidate profile:   A Doctoral qualification or Masters in Financial Planning plus 5 years' relevant teaching experience in a FAS-approved course in financial planning and/or 5 years’ experience working as a Financial Planning Professional.  Registered Financial Planning Advisor Certification is mandatory. Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided). The candidate also needs to be available between 5 pm and 10 pm AEST every day.
