Logistics & Shipping Coordinator Function Logistics / Shipping Location Remote — India Works with Sales Coordinators, Shipping vendors, Production Working hours Aligned to UAE business hours ROLE OVERVIEW The Logistics & Shipping Coordinator manages the shipping side of our orders remotely. They source shipping rates from vendors, prepare the necessary shipping documentation, and follow shipments closely from dispatch to delivery. A clear understanding of UAE shipping requirements is important, and the role calls for someone genuinely attentive who stays on top of every shipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Vendor quotes — contact shipping vendors and freight forwarders to obtain and compare shipping prices. • Shipment follow-up — track and follow up on shipments from collection through to delivery, flagging any issues early. • Documentation — prepare shipping documents, including commercial invoices and packing lists. • UAE requirements — apply knowledge of UAE shipping, customs and documentation requirements to keep shipments moving smoothly. • Coordination — keep the sales coordinators and customers informed on shipment status. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Experience in logistics, shipping or freight forwarding. • Familiarity with UAE shipping and customs requirements. • Experience preparing commercial invoices, packing lists and related shipping documents. • Good written and spoken English for dealing with vendors and customers.
