Description . This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity for an entry-level physician to gain hands-on experience in diagnostic neuroradiology while working alongside experienced radiologists and specialists in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a Locum Neuroradiologist, you will play a vital role in interpreting advanced imaging studies, including MRI, CT, and angiography, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with neurological conditions. You will collaborate closely with referring physicians, neurologists, and neurosurgeons to deliver timely and precise radiological interpretations that directly impact patient outcomes across our practice.   Responsibilities Interpret neuroradiological imaging studies, including MRI, CT, MR angiography, CT angiography, and conventional angiography Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports for referring physicians and clinical teams Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialists to guide patient management decisions Perform and supervise image-guided procedures as required, including lumbar punctures and biopsies Consult with patients and families regarding imaging findings and next steps when necessary Ensure compliance with all medical, legal, and regulatory standards in radiology practice Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to support comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies Stay current with advances in neuroradiology techniques and imaging technologies Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the radiology department Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas Completion of an accredited residency program in Radiology Fellowship training in Neuroradiology is strongly preferred (or in progress) Board eligibility or board certification in Radiology, with subspecialty interest in Neuroradiology Strong proficiency in interpreting complex neuroradiological imaging studies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with referring physicians Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy Eligibility for medical malpractice insurance coverage Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based care model Schedule: Saturday and Sunday (7a-7p) No call requirement Setting: Remote or onsite Patient Volume: ~45 RVUs per shift Case Types: Mostly IP work and radiographs EMR: Epic Dictations: Powerscribe 360 PAVCS: Merge Workstations available Must be board-certified
