Instructional Designer – Udemy & Online Course Creation

We’re a fast-growing edtech company building high-impact online courses for global audiences. We’re looking for a skilled Instructional Designer who doesn’t just write content — you’ll own the full course creation lifecycle from idea to Udemy launch.   What You’ll Do   - Design & Develop Courses: Create engaging curriculum and learning paths for these niches: Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, Gamification, and Project Management   - End-to-End Content Creation: Write video scripts, design slide decks, build quizzes, assignments, and downloadable resources aligned with adult learning principles   - Udemy/Teachable Publishing: Upload and optimize courses on Udemy — including SEO-friendly titles, descriptions, course landing pages, and promo videos. Experience with Teachable or Thinkific is a big plus   - Apply Instructional Design Models: Use ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and microlearning to make content interactive and outcome-driven   - Collaborate with SMEs & Video Teams: Guide subject matter experts and video editors to record and produce high-quality lectures   - Optimize for Performance: Monitor student reviews, ratings, and completion rates. Update courses based on feedback and Udemy algorithm changes   - Stay Platform-Compliant: Ensure all courses meet Udemy’s quality review standards and marketplace guidelines   What You Must Have   - 3+ Years of Instructional Design Experience with a proven track record of publishing courses   - Udemy Experience Required: Must have published at least 2-3 courses on Udemy. Share your instructor profile/portfolio link   - Niche Expertise: Hands-on knowledge in 2+ of these areas: Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, Gamification, Project Management   Technical Skills:      - Excellent script writing and storytelling for video-based learning       - Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides for professional deck design       - Understanding of basic video editing to guide production teams       - SEO & copywriting skills for course landing pages   Tools: Familiarity with Camtasia, Articulate, Canva, or similar tools
