We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Generalist/People Advisor to join our People team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, operational HR support across the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a remote environment, have excellent stakeholder management skills, and be confident advising managers on a broad range of people matters. Experience working within a global organisation is highly desirable, along with hands-on experience using BambooHR as an HRIS. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies. Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management, and investigations. Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, probation, promotions, changes to employment, and offboarding. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within BambooHR. Produce employment contracts, letters, policy updates, and other HR documentation. Partner with managers to build people capability and support effective people management practices. Ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently and consistently across the business. Monitor compliance with employment legislation and recommend updates to policies and procedures where required. Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and consultation processes as required. Analyse HR data and prepare reports to support business decision-making. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple countries and time zones where applicable. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the People function. Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience in a People Advisor or equivalent HR generalist role. Strong operational knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Demonstrable hands-on experience using BambooHR. Experience managing a wide range of employee relations cases independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of attention to detail and confidentiality. Confident advising and influencing managers at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office and BambooHR. Comfortable working remotely and managing workload independently. Desirable Experience working within a global or international organisation. Exposure to employment practices globally. HR qualification. Experience supporting change management initiatives. Personal Attributes Collaborative and approachable.
