Forward Deployed Engineer

## About the role We are looking for a mid-level Forward Deployed Engineer to build meaningful solutions with customers and turn complex problems into reliable, production-ready systems. This is a customer-facing engineering role combining hands-on software development, practical AI/LLM applications, and ownership of delivery outcomes. ## Responsibilities - Work directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. - Design, build, integrate, and operate production applications and workflows. - Develop software using JavaScript and TypeScript. - Apply AI and large language model capabilities to solve real-world customer problems. - Own deployments, troubleshooting, iteration, and production outcomes from discovery through delivery. - Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly with customers and internal stakeholders. ## Required qualifications - Mid-level professional experience in software engineering or a closely related technical role. - Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development skills. - Experience applying AI or large language models in practical applications. - Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders. - Experience taking technical solutions through delivery and supporting production outcomes. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. ## Work arrangement This is a remote, part-time position.
