Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron Shale & Tight Business Unit is accepting online applications for the position of Field Specialist at our Keene, ND plant through July 15th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CST The Midstream Field Specialist is responsible for monitoring equipment performance data to optimize pipeline utilization, station throughput, maximizing free cash flow while ensuring safe and compliant operations. This role requires adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and a commitment to safety and environmental standards. This position is a 95% field / 5% office role. Expectations: Participate in daily SQDCP to share station hotspots and updates Understand operation of stations and gathering systems Ensuring permits are reviewed and signed and LOTO is completed Support craft in execution and oversight of work Safety leadership Strong communicating among organizational customers Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed Roles & Responsibilities Engage in safe work practices, start work checks including reviewing permits and walkthroughs. Immediate reporting and documentation of incidents and spills according to company policies. Maintain and properly use PPE. Collaborate with team leaders on a routine basis Complete effective handoff communications between back to backs and with night operations(where applicable). Perform equipment surveillance and provide first-level response. Operate equipment and manage process controls and flow (start-up, shut down). Safely complete and accurately capture work activities using digital tools and software (Operator round, autonomous maintenance, SAP (corrective/preventive/predictive maintenance)). Ensure accuracy of production reporting via Production recording software (ODR). Maintain regulatory requirements (Flaring, VOC emissions, audits, flare event tracking). Participate in risk assessments, PHA, MOC reviews, and spill documentation. Understand the correlation between station activities and impact to Upstream Operations. Ensure Availability/Reliability/Utilization targets are met. Drive well optimization: maximize performance, reduce downtime to ensure pipeline optimization. Support facility optimization: maximize throughput, minimize shutdowns, reduce unplanned LPO, and optimize compression. Support verification and execution of equipment maintenance and repairs (SPCC, LDAR, routine and frontline maintenance). Follow fluid management best practices: minimize fluid inventory, dual gauge tanks, drain tank bottoms, verify levels, and confirm automation accuracy. Develop technical skills and “We Lead” behaviors in field staff. Actively participate in training, coaching, and mentoring initiatives. Actively participate in response meetings and support cross-area resource allocation during events. Identify OPEX saving opportunities. Complete other duties assigned by the Field Coordinator and Superintendent. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Must possess a valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: Industrial/oilfield experience preferred Basic computer skills (Microsoft, SAP) Mechanical aptitude Good communication skills Knowledge of safety requirements and practices Ability to work effectively and complete daily tasks with minimal supervision Continuous Improvement mindset Process Execution Skills Problem Solving / Decision Making proactiveness Field Time Required: 95% field time Relocation Options: Relocation will not be considered.
