The Director of Program Management leads the development and delivery of strategic initiatives for our Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs. This role oversees program implementation, operational excellence, and client satisfaction while driving continuous improvement and innovation. The Director partners with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient program operations, scalable processes, and alignment with client needs and organizational goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Program Leadership & Strategy Oversee the implementation and management of healthcare staffing and MSP programs, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional service. Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance program performance and meet client objectives. Identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, and optimization across all programs. Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong partnerships and addressing concerns proactively. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance metrics, provide updates, and align on future goals. Collaborate with sales and account management teams to support new business opportunities and client retention efforts. Operational Excellence Establish and monitor KPIs to assess program success and identify areas for improvement. Standardize workflows and processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance with industry regulations. Partner with internal teams (e.g., recruiting, compliance, technology) to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Team Management & Development Build and lead a high-performing team of program managers and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure programs adhere to all relevant regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard program integrity and client trust. Technology & Reporting Leverage data analytics tools to track performance, forecast trends, and deliver actionable insights. Partner with IT teams to enhance the use of technology in program operations, including VMS platforms and reporting systems. Prepare and present detailed program reports to senior leadership and clients. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE) May work on special projects or other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY May communicate with external clients and providers QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred 8+ years of experience in program management, healthcare staffing, or MSP environments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Proven track record of managing large-scale staffing programs and delivering measurable results Experience in workforce solutions, including locum tenens staffing or advanced practice provider staffing preferred PMP or similar project management certification preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to adhere to and exhibit the Company Values at all times Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Knowledge of compliance requirements for healthcare staffing (e.g., JCAHO, state licensure, credentialing) Working knowledge of Salesforce or relative CRM systems Working knowledge of document management systems Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills - both oral and written Ability to build strong business relationships at all levels Strong interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Solid critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills Ability to consistently meet goals, commitments, and deadlines Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Builds Networks Drives Engagement Communicates Effectively Strategic Mindset Delegates Effectively Drives Vision and Purpose Develops Self & Others Technical Skills PHYSICAL, MENTAL, WORKING CONDITION, AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Typical office environment - sedentary with typing, writing, reading requirements.
