Data Platform Engineer

Your future starts here We are building a modern data platform for a Swiss bank based on AWS, Snowflake, and Atlan. You ensure the stable, accurate, and efficient operation of the platform and keep our data processes running reliably. You automate workflows, create transparency, and continuously improve quality and performance. Working closely with both the team and the customer, you take a solution-oriented and results-driven approach. Operate, maintain, and further develop the cloud-based data platform Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for data loading processes and data pipelines Take responsibility for the daily ingestion and processing of data from the core banking system and approximately 20 additional source systems Drive platform stability and efficiency through automation and cost optimization initiatives Your skills Degree (ETH, University, University of Applied Sciences, Higher Technical College) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification Several years of experience operating data platforms, as well as managing operational and deployment processes Strong knowledge of cloud services, databases, data processing, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and orchestration tools Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented working style Enjoy working in a team and interacting with customers Familiar with monitoring and incident management; able to perform reliably even under time pressure Fluent German and good English skills; French is an advantage With us, you have the opportunity to work in one of our offices in Switzerland or in your home office.
