Profile Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years’ demonstrated experience in conveyancing or property law within a legal practice or conveyancing firm Solid understanding of end-to-end conveyancing processes, including sales, purchases, transfers, and settlements Proficiency in conveyancing and legal practice management software, as well as electronic settlement platforms such as PEXA Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare and review legal documents with a high level of accuracy Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in dealing directly with clients and external stakeholders Ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a team environment Must use windows (OS) Core responsibilities: Manage a high volume of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post-settlement, ensuring files progress efficiently Draft, review, and amend contracts of sale, vendor statements, transfer documents, and other legal documentation with a high degree of accuracy Conduct and analyse title searches, zoning checks, and other due diligence enquiries to identify potential issues or risks Liaise regularly with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders, and solicitors to provide updates and resolve queries Coordinate and attend to settlements using electronic platforms (e.g. PEXA), ensuring all documentation and funds are ready on time Monitor critical dates, including finance approval, cooling-off periods, and settlement deadlines, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations Prepare financial calculations, including settlement adjustments for council rates, water rates, and land tax Maintain accurate and up-to-date file notes, correspondence, and records in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunity to shape the HR function of a rapidly growing BPO.
