BASIC PURPOSE: The primary responsibility of the Billing Analyst is to ensure timely and accurate processing of approved timesheets and invoices and research and resolve all provider and client inquiries in a timely and customer-focused manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Issuance of timely and accurate invoicing Handling and resolving both internal and external customer inquiries and issues Performing customer account reconciliations, third party system reconciliations, and other needed reconciliations Prepare and present analytical reports as well as perform as needed data analysis and reporting Maintaining key reporting metrics for the department as well as working with various departments on root cause analysis and resolution Creation and execution of department audit reports to assist with accuracy of data processing, exception process analysis, and internal/external audit requests All other duties as assigned. M ust be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. POSITION SCOPE: Strong technical skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and advanced excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Works with discretion and confidentiality Strong organization and presentation skills, including balancing multiple responsibilities and effectively meeting deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as cohesively with a team actions Strong business acumen with understanding of organization and various functions Good understanding of payroll/billing process flow to be able to extract data from reporting modules as well as analyze the information Strong analytical thinking skills to systematically break down issues and determine root cause QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years working within a Shared Services environment 2-5 years billing and/or analyst experience preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. College coursework or education preferred. Company equipment(laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse headset) will be provided directly to you for use during employment.
