Associate Director, Display, Video & App

As the Associate Director of Display, Video & App Marketing, you will lead our global acquisition channels across Display, Video, and App—balancing performance and awareness objectives while driving cost-effective volume growth across the full HelloFresh Group brand portfolio.

Your primary mission is to strategically scale these channels in a way that is measurable, creatively sharp, and responsive to demand. That means embedding an always-on incrementality framework at the heart of how we measure effectiveness, defining and rolling out a unified measurement and creative framework across channels, ensuring technical infrastructure is scalable and robust, and making sure we show up effectively during HelloFresh Group's biggest peak and high-demand moments.

You will...

• Lead and develop the team: Manage, coach, and grow the Display & Video Team Lead(s), App Marketing Team Lead, and their wider teams, building a high-performing, scalable multi-channel organization.
• Own the global Display, Video & App strategy: Set and drive the strategic direction across all three channels, balancing performance (conversion, CPA/CAC) and awareness objectives across all HelloFresh Group brands and markets.
• Embed always-on incrementality measurement: Define and roll out an always-on incrementality framework (geo-testing, regression, multi-touch attribution) as the core lens for evaluating channel effectiveness and guiding budget allocation across Display, Video, and App, partnering closely with Marketing Analytics.
• Define and launch a unified creative framework: Build and roll out a creative testing and refresh framework across Display & Video, setting standards for iteration cadence and creative-performance feedback loops in partnership with Brand and Creative teams.
• Manage global budget allocation: Set and dynamically reallocate budget across markets, brands, and channels to hit volume growth and CPA/CAC targets, forecasting and reporting with rigor.
• Own peak and high-demand moments: Lead planning and execution for HelloFresh Group's key peak and high-demand trading moments, ensuring budget, creative, and targeting are primed to capture demand spikes efficiently across all channels.
• Drive channel efficiency and close infrastructure gaps: Identify and resolve technical and setup gaps that impede efficient scaling, working cross-functionally with Tech, Product, and Marketing stakeholders to test, iterate, and scale improvements across campaign performance and user experience.
• Build scalable infrastructure: Develop infrastructure to enhance team efficiency, including implementation of tools for budgeting automation, advanced measurement models (incremental regression analysis, MMM), and tracking data pipelines.
• Lead senior agency and platform relationships: Act as the strategic lead and escalation point for external agencies and platform partners (including Google, DSPs, and mobile platforms), setting the agenda on plans, investment, and innovation.
• Test and scale new formats: Identify, test, and scale new opportunities within Display, Video, and App ecosystems—including YouTube, new creative formats, and app monetization—to diversify acquisition and support video adoption goals.
• Drive cross-channel alignment: Partner with cross-channel and measurement teams to connect Display, Video, and App activity to the broader full-funnel customer journey and shared measurement frameworks.
• Coordinate aligned messaging: Deploy aligned messaging across ad creative and app store landing pages, collaborating closely with the Brand team and relevant Performance Marketing channels.
• Enhance measurement integration and tracking: Collaborate with the Marketing Data Product and Tracking teams to enhance integration of Display, Video, and App data into Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), improve Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) integrity, and optimize app tracking data pipelines.

What you'll bring...

• 8+ years of professional experience in Performance Marketing / Paid Media, with deep, hands-on expertise in Demand Gen, Google Ads, Display/Video DSPs (e.g. DV360), and Paid User Acquisition.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing people managers (leading leaders), ideally within a Display, Video, App, or paid media function.
• Proven experience building and embedding incrementality-based measurement frameworks (e.g. geo-testing, regression, multi-touch attribution) and partnering with Analytics on marketing mix modelling (MMM) and advanced measurement.
• Strong understanding of mobile tracking platforms (e.g., MMPs) and measurement infrastructure, including hands-on experience with integration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• A track record of defining and scaling creative testing frameworks that improve both performance and brand consistency across markets.
• Experience planning and delivering campaigns through high-demand or peak trading moments, with the agility to reallocate budget and creative at pace.
• Strong commercial acumen—comfortable owning budget, forecasting, and reporting against volume growth and CPA/CAC targets.
• Ability to identify and close tech/setup gaps quickly, partnering with product, tech, and marketing stakeholders to launch or optimize new campaigns.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience as the senior point of contact for agencies and platform partners such as Google. You will be the go-to person for multiple marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of digital marketing disciplines across digital display, paid social media, OTV, SEO, PPC, and e-commerce.
